Guest guest
Kathy, I know the feeling of dreading the winter, but I am so much better this year, I think I won't have the same problems, maybe I can give some Ideas you havn't thought of. I know a man who's wife could not tolerate the cholestramine, who was seeing Shoemaker, who is now seeing a pain managment accupuncturist MD, and supposibly getting allot of relief from the pain. As for breathing problems in winter, I am still in my rental, and do not dare turn on the heat pump, but they left the electric strip heater, which I used last winter. Very bad- I can only tolerate them with a hepa blasting- and it still is not good. Those plug in portable oil filled radiators seem to make breathing easier- DeLonghi makes some of them, and they heat up a room great, and are safe to leave on- plus- try and bundle up and sun yourself- there is allot of research that shows vitamin D helps eliviate pain- this could be part of the pain problem in the winter-good luck- I am sure allot of us are with you in dreading the winter- being at the beach this summer helped me heal --- In , Kathy <kathywnb@y...> wrote: > > > Someone please tell me how to have a postivie attitude when I am in constant pain and some days death would be a relief. I've thought about suicide many times during the past 2 winters because death would be better than what I am suffering now. I do fairly well during the spring and summer, but when the weather changes like now, I'm in constant pain. Today has been horrible. I've cried and prayed and begged God to give me some relief or just let me die. I don't want to die; I just can't stand this much longer. I am a type A personality. I want to work. I want to do things with family and friends. I want to travel. I want to pursure photography. I would settle now for just being able to clean out my > flower bed. > > > >
