Guest guest
About the Survey http://www.ewg.org:16080/sites/nurse_survey/index2.php " Health care facilities present workers with a myriad of potential health and safety hazards. " — National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Can a profession that promotes health and healing also be harmful? Research shows that nurses face exposures to an extraordinary array of harmful chemicals, drugs, and other physical agents — everything from hospital disinfectants to anti-cancer drugs, specialty cleaning agents and radiation. Some of these are linked to cancer; others may cause birth defects or other health harms. Please join us in an important new research effort to explore nurses' health issues, conducted jointly by Health Care Without Harm and the Environmental Working Group. Take a few minutes to take the survey. Your identity will remain anonymous; your responses could help in a broad, new effort to promote health, healing and sustainability not only for the patient, but also for healthcare providers and the world we all share.
