Very good point, and for a small investment, you can get a nice quality nut milk bag that will last for many sessions. Divide that into the cost, and decide if it is worth getting unknown harmful chemicals into your body!Ginny From: <berrywell@...> Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 2012 6:54 PM

This has been brought up before...PLEASE do NOT use paint strainer bags. They are not food grade, and have been stored around all sorts of toxic chemicals, likely treated wtih them in the first place, and would not be safe for food use, even if well washed.

Ooops - I see you already answered my question about washing paint strainer bags. How do we know the lady selling on EBay isn't selling paint strainer bags?

I think with the discussion going on about whether or not to trust certain bags, I will stick with my Champion if I want strained juice. Besides, I have never complained about the clean-up. Also, for some reason even though I would wash my hands thoroughly I don't think I want my juice running over my hands. FWIW, That's just one person's opinion. Then, too, I don't mind the pulp in the juice, especially after it has been diluted with ice and liquefied. Years ago I talked

to a demonstrator at Sam's about the juice not being palatable because of the pulp. He proceeded to make a delicious juice with apple, carrot, pineapple and a squirt of honey. I took back what I had said and for the most part put up my Champion. I do get it out for my nut butters.Bro & Billie
