Guest guest
According to appendix three of his book, it states the hla-dr test is to be sent to LabCorp only. As I understand it, Quest displays the results of the test in their own form, not compatible with the rosetta stone in back of the book. Labcorp has a place on their site you can search for the closest 'patient service center'. http://www.labcorp.com/psc/index.html Good luck! --- In , " julie genser " <j_genser@h...> wrote: > > I still have been unable to find out the correct test name for the LabCorp > HLA test ordered by Dr Shoemaker. Guest guest
Thanks for writing. I only did the Quest test after Dr Shoemaker's office mgr told me I should be able to use it since that was what my insurance would cover. When Dr Shoemaker advised I needed to go to LabCorp after reviewing my results, I then did the LabCorp HLA-DR. That is the incorrect test as well. Luckily, Dr Schaller was kind enough to respond to my email and he told me the correct name of the test: HLA-DRB DBQ Disease Evaluation. The HLA-DR only gives you results for DRB1. So I am missing 4 of the other columns. I am only able to guess at my genetic susceptibility. Unfortunately, I have to redo this test for the 3rd time. Hopefully the results will be well worth it. <<According to appendix three of his book, it states the hla-dr test is to be sent to LabCorp only.
