Guest guest
Jeff, I noticed on link below pictures of dust mites under chronic cough. Do dust mites bother throat alot in some people? I hardly ever sneeze but have had sore throat for over two years noone can solve. I test positive to many allergens, including mites. My allergies exclaimed with 'Gee Barb, you really have alot of allergy trouble when he saw my arms with little blisters all over the place' and got help from an assistant to help him measure and identify all of them but the weird thing I rarely sneeze but have alot of fatigue but this very, very irritated throat. Perhaps breathing into my pillow at night!? My throat is frequently worse when I wake up. I've thought perhaps I was breathing all night with mouth open. Doc diagnosed me with GERD. However I have no heartburn or indigestion and irritation is very high up in throat. Then recently I read that some GERD diagnosis could actually be allergies, caused by irritation of allergens brought in by breathing, over throat tissue. For some reason in some people throat may be more irritated than sinuses or may get a big of both, post nasal drip may be causing part of throat irritation and allergens in air breathed over tissue in top part of throat causing irritation also. This is more likely with me as I said to doctor how could I have GERD and not know it when irritation is sooooooooo high up in throat and none in belly or lower near heart. After reading article I started taking antihistamine every night and sometimes in day and my throat is feeling much better. Anyway, it was interesting to me that you had topic of mites under chronic cough. If a doctor can't find a reason for sore throat they diagnose GERD and some may not be. Under GERD, they said some people may be 'unsymptomatic'. I said to doctor, well maybe those people don't have GERD also, now I think they may be people with allergies instead. What has been your experience with this? Thanks, Barbb > > Sue, > > This type of cover is very comfortable compared to plastic and is fine for a new pillow, but it is not adequate for an already
