I was stationed in England in the 70's and while you could get transformers to convert 110 to 240 you could not convert the cycles. As I remember I could use my radio because it was solid state but not my turn table that had a motor because it would run either faster or slower (I can't remember). That may be hard to come by, but you can get a plug adapter that will work fine in the UK-not sure about anywhere else. I have a plug kit that I take with me when I go back to England. You should be able to find one on Amazon or ebay.>> Hello, can anyone please help to locate one of these?$> We live in hope...> alan>

I wasn't too far away at RAF Alconbury. I was stationed there from 1974 to early 1976. Its odd because I can use my power converter in Lakenheath or Brighton, or most of East Anglia, but can't use it in London! > >> > Hello, can anyone please help to locate one of these?$> > We live in hope...> > alan> >>
