They broke our laws getting here and shouldn't be here in the first place. This article is so biased and twisted in it's representation, it's not even factual. And if Congress were on it, they would be throwing them (illegals) out. I know too many legal immigrants (i.e.. Americans) who's wages are severely depress because of these free-loaders. Angelika Wow! I am a bit taken aback by this one. No doubt the illegal immigration issue plays a signifcant role in our society. Our hospitals are taxed by indigent care, our schools are crowded with children who are US Citizens, yet their parents pay no taxes. On the other hand, the illegal immigrants come here for a reason. Not to be free-loaders, but for jobs to help their families in impoverished countries. And there are plenty of industries that will provide jobs that are turned down by legal immigrants ie Americans. Here in California, the trevajos pick our fruit, landscape our yards, watch our children, dig our ditches and do many jobs that most would decline. There is even a movie about what an intrical part of our society they are, it's called " A Day Without a Mexican " . So what does this have to do with people being allowed to unnecessarily become ill from mold and mold toxin exposure? In my book, nothing. No matter where someone is from, no matter whether they tax our society or benefit it, like it or not, they are still part of our society and should be treated like human beings. Think back on how miserable some of our lives have been allowed to become over the mold issue. About how badly many of us have been treated. I would never wish the same thing on another human being, no matter what country they were from or where they currently lived - legal or not. And you know what? From a selfish standpoint, the sicker these illegal workers are allowed to become, the more our health care system will be taxed. And when they can't work anymore, the burden they impose on society will become even greater. Sharon
