I think I would use it more than the 64 oz. that I have. I went to the Vitamix website and there does not appear to be a tamper for this size, only for the 64 oz. and the 48 oz. Guest guest Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 I just received my set with a 64 oz and 32 oz wet and 32 oz dry containers. The same tamper works with all. The hole in the top cap is much smaller in the 32 oz so the tamper stops where it should. A year ago, in December, Vitamix had a promotion going on the 32 oz. container and I ordered it. It came with a short tamper. Last summer, I bought the 48 oz. container, which came with the mini-tamper shown on the Vitamix site. The mini-tamper for the 48 oz. container is identical in size, shape, and color to the one that came with my 32 oz. container. In fact, I have the one that came with my 48 oz. container put away as a spare. I use the mini-tamper that came with my 32 oz. container in the 48 oz. container as well. Personally, I prefer using the shorter mini-tamper in the shorter containers, rather than using the longer tamper that comes with the 64 oz. container.
