Guest guest
Donna, I just fell on the ice this winter (impaired balance ) and landed right on my tailbone. It hasn't seemed to progress my symptoms that I can tell, BUT it it still sore, and I could barely climb stairs for 2-3 weeks. I consider myself fairly fit and fitness-minded, so I kept going to the gym and modified my workout. I occasionally see a Massage Therapist and have not had the time to go since the fall. I believe it will be helpful when I do make the time to go. Do you still have problems? If so, maybe you should see a Physical Therapist or Massage Therapist, yourself. Bye for now, Donna wrote: > > From: " Donna " <brookslanding@...> > > I was wondering how many of you CMTers have had a hit or injury to the tailbone? > > When I was a child I fell on my skates and the roller was sideways and my tailbone hit the screwhead of the wheel. My Mom said I couldn't get up for a long while and the area turned black and blue for months. This happened before I was diagnosed at 8 yrs. of age with Type 2, new mutation in family. > > Donna > > -- > Join the most exciting community of women on the web! > iVillage.com's FREE membership gets you private email, > your own home page, special discounts and sweepstakes, > and dozens of problem-solving tools. > http://www.ivillage.com/frame/join_email.html > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > GET A NEXTCARD VISA, in 30 seconds!
