I don't understand. Why is no one writing to Marcie's legislator?

Hi Guys,

As I understand it, Marcie has gotten very few responses of our stories that

she can share with her Congressman.

KC, who dedicates much of his time trying to help mold victims, has asked

that we support Marcie.

I think he is feeling a bit not happy and a little used. I don't blame him.

He spends countless hours supporting you, yet when a request is made for you

to support others, which also supports KC - the response is just not coming.

We all know what hell Marcie has been through. She has an opportunity to

make her voice heard, and yours too. By sharing your voice, hers becomes

louder. She has more chance at success of actually moving the issue forward to

obtain help.

Am I missing something?

Why do you all think the personal accounts are not being sent to Marcie? I

am not meaning to berate or anything. I just would really like to understand

why no letters. If there is a major problem with the sharing, we really

need to know why for future reference.

I wrote a suggestion to Oprah show that this would be important

topic with info from group. In my case, I have no proof whatsoever

that my problem is with mold. My house air tests turned out good.

I have CFS and test positive to Epstein Barr Virus and infectious

mono last July and again in February, probably cause of my sore

throat, as well as allergies but have no story to tell about mold

encounter. I did clean mold in my basement without mask and

ventilation a couple years ago. My air tests in basement I had done

last year had aspergillus but not at abnormal amounts so don't know

what to write. If I would write about mold, I would write about you-

all!!!, not myself, even though I suspect mold has impacted my life

at home. However my allergy tests came back positive for everything

tested on me EXCEPT for mold so I have nothing to write I can back

up with any facts. That is why no letter from me. I'm just

suspecting mold is a factor from my symptoms. I see others have

stories of leaving work places where other people got sick with same

symptoms, etc, are important to tell, lost jobs due to illness. I

went back to work a few months ago after having cancer surgery and

Mono, no test showing mold or fungal infection. Now Dr Shoemaker

says I have mycotoxins but from where I don't know and since I had

cancer and mono, can't prove my symptoms are from the mycotoxins.

In fact may make Dr Shoe's conclusions look suspicious actually. My

trouble started when I took a drug that suppressed my immune

system. Result looks like it was mono and perhaps cancer (since it

was just very early stage, pre-stage-one, accidentally found while

doing surgery for something else). Anyway, no way to point a link

to mold except in my own head right now. I could try. If you

want. I guess I could tell that I had aspergillus in basement and

cleaned it up while on drug that suppressed immune system and have

cancer diagnosis, CFS diagnosis and Epstein Barr virus now but all

my symptoms can be explained by the mono virus and multiple

allergies. I would like to write letter to pharmacy and accuse them

of making me sick. Anyone want to write a letter to pharmaceutical

industry, let me know. Tell me what you want me to do. I will help

if you think my story is convincing to you. barbb
