Guest guest
SO GLAD that you like the soup! I just kind of "invented it" one day and thought that it was sparse on ingredients, but I just wanted to find a way to get down a bunch of collards. I REALLY like it too, but was afraid that it was because I am weird - LOL ;-)You will LOVE the collard chips - and probably end up hoping they give you a bunch of collards (or kale) again next month. You will also likely feel better - greens are SO GOOD for you!OH - I just realized why you got so many collards - our grocery store was stocked up on them too - it is part of the traditional New Year's Day meal (greens, black eye peas, and ham) Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Jan 9, 2012, at 9:54 PM, Verria wrote: Lea Ann, I made the collard soup in my VM and it was verrrrrrrrrrrrry tasty!Rene, I plan to make the collard chips tomorrow........first I have to dig out he dehydrator I bought about 6 months ago and ever opened! Guest guest
Speaking of greens and black eyed peas for New Years-this year for the very first time that I recall, my local grocer had pint containers of fresh black eyed peas in the fridge next to the produce. They were delicious. Velda On 1/9/2012 7:03 PM, Lea Ann Savage wrote: SO GLAD that you like the soup!
