Do you have a Department of Building Inspection? You definitely should

call them and have them come by - and then give them a tour of the

place and its problems. Fill out a formal complaintand make sure to

tell them everything you told us. Get it into the official record.

Also, I agree, take at least two samples with a witness watching, then

DOUBLE BAG THEM and send one to a lab directly, pop, right into the

mail, with the witness watching, so they can testify as to the

validity of the sample. *sigh*

Keep the other one in a safe place. DON't use regular baggies, use

Ziplok bags and seal the sample shut if it made you sick. Seal it with

scotch tape and *Don't open it*. save it .

Treat it like poison, make sure its sealed tight.. you do not want to

let it out into your new home.

Also, have you gone to the local courthouse to look up your landlord's

name in the court records? (and/or the names that they may do business

under, as well as their managers, lawyers, etc.) Maybe they or some of

their associates make it a practice of ignoring unhealthy conditions

in their rentals and playing this game.

It would be great if you didn't have this to worry about, but do it.

It could help a lot.

BTW, if you haven't already made tghe appt, PLEASE go to a doctor ASAP

about your health issue.

you are correct, kathryn--it all of your statements here. the infants in

cleveland died of acute pulmonary hemmorrhagic (bleeding) problems.
