Apricot Kernels

If you eat the 'flesh' of an apricot, you'll be left with the pit. If you

take a pair of nutcrackers and crack this pit open, you'll find a seed or

'kernel' inside, a bit smaller than an almond in size. This seed is the

edible apricot seed.

Cheers,

Hi group.

I thought apricot kernels were poisonous.

If not that then something else was wrong with them that you shouldn't

eat them. They contain some sort of acid?
