Guest guest
, I was wondering about your coffee maker. Where exactly did you see this mold? Hmmm sound like it's everwhere. There are so many working in a delicate dance..... As an allergic person, I will try to explain my point of view on this. I really think they are related, not separate, at least for those of us with the genetic susceptibility for allergies. I had a very high fever that discolored my teeth between the ages of 2 and 3, according to the dentist. At age 2 & 1/2 I was diagnosed with " infectious asthma " . Now what would do those 2 things at that age? Valley Fever, would, and I lived in an area where it is endemic. It is a fungal disease. Over the course of my childhood, the things that caused me significant illness were: chronic, debilitating asthma (for which I recieved standard treatment, which was not terribly effective), swimmer's ear (another fungal inf.), athlete's foot (ditto), developed depression at age 11 (today my depression is fungally caused). I tend to become allergic to stuff I get over-exposed to over the course af a few years. As my problems surly overlap, I am convinced that the alleriges are truly caused by fungal infection hyjacking my immune system. The antigen drops I take get my body to " back off " from the severe reactions, by getting it used to tiny amounts of the offending substances, which is helping me with my allergies. The antifungals are the thing I take that has made the MOST difference in how I feel (which was definately worse at first from the die off), and is continuing to do so in my situation (which is still some mold somewhere in the home, I am still on a search and destroy mission). The re-exposure to mold is of course continuing to make me sick, and is throwing a monkeywrench in my allergy treatment plan, but things are improving around here. My latest find was some black mold in my coffeemaker water supply, I was reacting to that in the kitchen. Got a new coffeemaker.....and hoping that was the whole problem with the kitchen, while not holding my breath. > > > > > > > > Hello All, > > > > > > > > > > > > Any one hear of this (g-glutamylcysteinylglycine [GSH] I'm > not > > > feeling well for more information see www.Allergycenter.com > need > > to > > > know what other Think about this Shot if any thing for people > With > > MCS? > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
We have an espresso machine, it has a plastic water and air intake in the water reservoir that attaches to the machine via plastic tubes. The mold was inside the plastic intake, and could not be cleaned. I tried to clean it, but it didn't work, so out it went. I am thinking the fridge may be contaminated too, which we need a new one anyway. I am still not done with the basement, where we had some serious problems. I think all the bad stuff is out except for some personal belongings that need to be carried out, I need to hire someone for that job. I apologize for the very long time in answering your note, but I was knocked out by a mouse invader, and we are in the process of getting rid of them and cleaning up- my throat is very very twitchy right now- I have been wiped out and having a hard time getting over it. Why in the world would a little mouse cause my throat to go wacky...who knows. > My latest find was some black mold in my coffeemaker water supply, I was reacting to that > in the kitchen. Guest guest
So did you have to get rid of all your personal belongings? The whole house? Guest guest
Geeze, I hope not. I am still trying to get rid of the basic problem, which I think I did, but I thought that a year ago, then decided to look for more, since I was still having reactions in the basement. I think I have looked everywhere, I can't think of any more places to look as far as the construction goes. I still have things to put into storage, I should hire it out, cause I keep reacting to it. Now that the windows are shut, I am having many more problems. I need to get rid of the humidifier water container thingy, as the clear tubes for it are moldy inside, so the whole thing is likey bad. Plus, I want a new fridge, I am not sure it is bad, but it is likey as bad as the coffeemaker. Plus it is very old anyway. But where do I get new fridge that isn't going to cause me problems? They are all made of stinky plastic, which can cause me to get sick, too. This whole thing really sucks. The whole nine yards is just a big headache from start to finish. There are very few options that are hypoallergenic and/or nontoxic. And those take a lot of enerygy to find, and I don't have that in much supply. I just hate this. > > > My latest find was some black mold in my coffeemaker water supply, I was reacting to > that > > in the kitchen.
