Guest guest
Does the skin rash I have seen so many talk about itch really bad in spots, may or may not make a small rash with little bumps that disappear in a few hours? I have had really itchy skin today and developed some sort of rash for the first time. I could breathe better today at work because the air conditioner was turned down much lower than usual. I wonder if that is there way of taking care of the problem. Also how do you know if the mold is toxic black mold? I found a ceiling tile with mold growing on it today and it was black. Does anybody know of a place to send it for testing or how to look at it and tell... --------------------------------- Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free. Guest guest
Laurie, the skin rash that I had at first was like raised goose bumps that itched a lot. I was in a training class of 30 people and almost all got the itchy goose bumps the same time. A year later new classes got the same rash, they called it hives. We believe it was reaction to something in the AC/vents. It went away after a few days, (but some people had it longer),this rash appears every so often on us, but not as bad as the first time. I also had a second rash months later that was bright red and was raised patches that were rough to touch. They were stinging like a bee sting does. The red rash was in three separate patches on my legs 2 " -4 " size . Two others that I worked with had the same red rash but we all had it weeks apart, Kathy had it all over her torso in large patches 5 " -8 " size (front and back), all over her upper arms in patches 3 " -5 " size. Kathy had it the worst, she was off work for a week with it. We heard of others having the same red rash on other parts of their bodies. The red rash went away after about 1-2 weeks. After a discussion at work during a break, it was discovered that most people at work got the itchy goose bump rash shortly after they started working in this building. This rash was not bright red like the other second stinging rash. As for the testing of the mold, It is best if more knowledgeable people on this board reply on how to get that tested where you are at as I am in Canada and we have different depts up here that do the testing. > > Does the skin rash I have seen so many talk about itch really bad in spots, may or may not make a small rash with little bumps that disappear in a few hours?
