Guest guest
For those who have been asking, I have just gotten word that several more doctors in the Atlanta area have recently become molld-literate and are beginning to treat mold patients. All have read Mold Warriors, all are interested, and all will accept Medicare or Medicaid payment, as well as other insurances. No disrespect to Dr. S - he's the man, we all agree! He's also only one human with only so many hours in the day, and a couple of hours from an airport. These docs are relatively new to the mold game, but are located in a hub city, so much easier to get to, for those who are too sick to endure the extra travel involved with going to Pokomoke City. All are members of a very special practice called Millenium Healthcare which is traditional, complimentary, and holistic-friendly. Good people, intent on doing good medicine. They have the VCS testing equipment in the office now. My experience with them has been that they will never sacrifice hard science to get you well, but they also keep a very open mind about other avenues as well. Both your insides AND you outsides are important. Play your cards just right, and you could even conceivably schedule a massage or a yoga class on the same day. Despite being a large practice with a busy working surgery in place (a couple of plastic surgeons practice there as well), it's a place filled with good energy. I have been in their offices many times, and it's kind of a running joke that they can make me wait as long as they like, because I will just flop out and go to sleep in the waiting room - the point being, I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel very safe and able to relax there. I have been disagreed with, and I have been corrected when I was factually wrong, but I have never once been belittled or made to feel like my well-being was second to any other consideration. I wouldn't try to get in and out of town on the same day, because scheduling at any medical practice is such a crapshoot you could easily think you left plenty of leeway and still miss your flight back out. I have spent time at that Marriott before, and had no problems (keep in mind that I am not MCS, though). I'm very excited about this development! One of our worst problems as patients has been locating enough docs to treat all of us, as our numbers have been growing so rapidly. Hopefully, word will spread out some more through these three. I stay in touch with them, so if more docs come on board, I'll let you all know about them as well. For now, it's a beautiful start.
