Guest guest
This is a problem all over the world, especially in the island nations in the Pacific. Many will just disappear if global warming keeps up. The whole state of Florida is pretty low, don't forget that during the Ice Age, the sea levels were more than 600 feet lower than they are now. (Thats when North America and Asia were connected, and a now-undersea land named Berengia lay between them) See http://www.un.org/smallislands2005/pressrelease5.pdf So he is not alone. I suppose he needs to 'keep his chin up'. And pray that the Ross Ice Shelf stays put and that the polar ice cap on Greenland stops melting. *sigh* On 11/9/05, tigerpaw2c <tigerpaw2c@...> wrote: > 11/07/05 > Pascagoula Residents Worry About Rebuilding Their Homes > Email to a Friend Printer Friendly Version > > e Goad Reports On Concerns About Rebuilding In Pascagoula > > http://www.wlox.com/Global/story.asp?S=4085445 & nav=6DJI > > Since Hurricane Katrina, Jimmy McGrath spends his off time trying to > get his King Avenue home ready to repair. > > " Tried to treat all of the wood, so any mold would be killed > instantly, " McGrath says, " Just trying to clean up.
