Guest guest
I have had phases of this illness where I sweated buckets doing the most minimal activity too, . It's easy to become dehydrated. I had times when I'd leave splotches of sweat darkening the carpet and splotches of wet sweat on the linoleum. Back when I was married, before my husband became completely fed up with this mystery illness of mine, he would see the wet splotches on the carpet or sort of slip on the wet splotches on the lino and say " Oh, you've been vacuuming again. " Wish he'd been willing to do the vacuuming, though, and save me the dehydration! The last 10 years, I have found warm sweats easier to cope with than cold sweats. If some effort, even an " easy " walk around the block, makes me break out in a cold, stinky sweat, and I feel particularly yucky, I know I'm in trouble and my body is really struggling with something. I have done " voluntary " sweats for most of the past 8 years, usually in an infra-red sauna, but I'm not sure that that has affected how much I sweat with physical exertion at any given time. I know I've had my sweat change in smell several times during intensive Traditional Chinese Medical treatment (mostly qigong), and in each case I was told that I was detoxing different compounds from the recent and distant past.
