Guest guest
The apt. building where I live is loaded with mold. It's so bad, you can actually smell it, and on the days when the owner, or Upper Management is going to come to the building to have a meeting in the Community Room, or when (PHFA) Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, and/or the Montgomery County Housing Authority, is coming to the building, to perform an inspection, the maintenance technician sprays the hallways with some type of an air freshener to cover up the moldy odor, and when he does that, I go into an asthmatic attack, and am sick for days afterwards. I have informed Management as well as maintenance, both verbally and in writing, about how the chemicals that are sprayed affect me, and I have asked them not to spray any more, but they evidently don't care, because they keep on spraying. In fact, when I told the maintenance tech., he thought it was funny, and while laughing, he said to me " Oh, did I spray too much? " I even got a note from my doctor, and that is on file in the office, but nothing matters, and I was wondering if anyone knew, if there is a law, either Federal, or a State law in Pennsylvania, which makes it illegal to spray chemicals in apt. buildings. If anyone knows of such a law, please tell me how I may obtain a copy of it. Thank you. Barb E. __________________________________ - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.
