On average, a person drinks 3 to 5 liters of water a day. On

average, a person breathes 20,000 liters of air a day.

For years, people drank from the faucets in their homes. Movie stars

were the only people that drank bottled water. In the last 10 years,

people have now switched to bottled water or water filters in their

homes. You pay more for a liter of bottled water than you do for gas

in your car.

People weren't afraid that the water from their faucet would kill or

make them sick. However, they were thinking about the accumulation

of lead and other containments in their body from faucet water over

a long period of time. This can in fact cause unwanted health

problems.

Similarly, poor indoor air (not all indoor air) can present a clear

danger over time. Since 1970s, architects and home designers have

increase the energy efficiency in homes by making them more air

tight. A positive of this is lower energy bills and a more temperate

controlled environment. However, there is not enough fresh air

exchange to reduce the build up of VOCs, Bacteria, Pollen, Radon,

Pet Dander, Dust Mite, or Mold.

I wrote this blog for feedback on whole home HEPA air purifiers. I

am not speaking of furnace filters, electrostatic or ionizers but

HEPA filtration units that purify the air in your home. Has anyone

had experience with these machines? For example: visit HepaCore.com
