low body temp and a question

All, thanks for all the suggestions and follwup offlist. My teen son's temp

is back up to 96.7 and it turns out he is in the throes of a " virus " going

around that has vomiting, low temp, severe head pain, and joint pain as the

symptoms. The hot epsom salt bath and the castor oil heatpack helped, as did

acupuncture and some herbs. He also had a shot of " Ancef ((?) " , an antibiotic.

He

lost a total of 1.5 lb in the past 3 weeks but at 6 ft and 158 lb, he is not in

any jeopardy according to the doc. Sticking only with clear liquids for the

time being.

On another note, does anyone have anything in their files about a Dr Harriet

Burge?

I thought I read something about her on this list.
