Guest guest
Okay. That makes sense. It isn't used to treat Candidas but other fungal infections like aspergillus, etc. I guess I was getting my groups confused. The little boy has an aspergillus infection which is quite serious. Many people with other fungal infections will have Candida also as a secondary so perhaps that is why I connect the two in my mind. There is aspergillus group I should post question too. Sorry. > Dear Barb, > I am not familar with Sporonax. > > Bee >
Guest guest
I have been on diflucan and Nizoral. Neither helped much and now they are going to give me sporonax. Has anyone taken this with good results? Janet
Guest guest
Janet, I'm glad to hear that they are putting you on sporonax, but it is like anything else, some may have a good response to it and some may have a reaction. In your case I really hope that it works for you without any side effects. At the same time feeling better. I would say some of the most informed people concerning these antifungals, especially sporonax, some of the best information and support would be on the aspergillus website:http://uk./group/AspergillusSupport/ You will find an excellant group of people, well informed. You might also question your doctor if the liquid form would be best. But please, when you start taking this whether it is liquid or capsule, take it very slow for at least the first week because of dieoff. If it is a capsule I would recommend and this is only my opinion through firsthand experience, open the capsule and cut it into 6 equal doses out of one capsule. Start with that and work up slowly. Again I am not a doctor (as you well know) so question your doctor about this. Take care, KC > > I have been on diflucan and Nizoral. Neither helped much and now they are > going to give me sporonax.
