Guest guest
Hey KC, Glad to hear everything went well with your visit to Shoemakers. I hope Sharon feels better soon. I just thought I'd mention this to those of you who are or will be taking CSM. There are several different manufacturers. The kids take one made by " Eon. " I take the one made by " Upsher-, " mine is sugar free because I am sensitive to sugar. Problem with mine is it is VERY gritty. Gags the crap out of me, it will not dissolve for anything. The kids take the one by " Eon Labs " it is wonderful to me. It dissolves for the most part, doesn't smell, doesn't have an after taste, or a fowl taste. We mix it with apple cider and it still tastes like apple cider. There are also some other brands out there too. Just thought some would like to know this. I'd love to hear what others are taking and how they taste, if they are gritty. This can only help others. Guest guest
, Thank you , this is great information for everyone. I didn't realize that there were so many companies that made the CSM and by the sounds of it there is a big difference in brands. The brand that Sharon has is manufactured by Par Pharmaceutical. 4 grams Cholestyramine Resin USP (cholestyramine powder) KC --- In , " " <eaglestone@w...> wrote: > > Hey KC, > Glad to hear everything went well with your visit to Shoemakers. Guest guest
I have tried the 2 you mentioned, kind of like poisoned tang, but cause I dont want the sugar and dye- get it made from Hoptkinton Pharmacy- a compounding pharmacy- much less gritty- but hard to mix- this morning I mixed it with warmer water like KC says and it is much better --- In , " " <eaglestone@w...> wrote: > > Hey KC, > Glad to hear everything went well with your visit to Shoemakers. Guest guest
I wonder why they don't put the CSM in capsules, but then I don't know how much you take at a time.
