Loni,

I don't sweat much either in dry sauna and actually what happens is

my face gets very red instead. Doctor says to get out of sauna if

face gets flushed, so I do. My face gets flushed before I do much

sweating. I may be interested in steam sauna if that works. Where

did she buy it or do you have a brand name or can get info on it?

There is nothing as good as personal referral to a product.

My limited ability to sweat maybe one reason I 'retain' so many

chemicals, other people get rid of. Because of this, I seem to get

all the bad side effects of medicine, have to take half doses or

less of things.

When you say your doctor gives 02 intravenously, is that in form of

hydrogen peroxide? My doctor said he was going to give me oxygen

intravenously but it turns out it was hydrogen peroxide. I don't

know about putting anything in my viens that when I put it on an

open wound, fizzes and hurt, so I passed that up. I am wary of

alternative medicine also. As well meaning as the doctors may be,

they have some bad information also. I don't like the idea of

hydrogen peroxide in my viens. I know body makes it by itself, but

I'll let my body do that when and how it wants.

>

> I don't sweat much in dry sauna. A friend with mold illness bought

a steam sauna & said it saved her life. Really made her sweat & said

lots of toxins came out. Anyone do this? Also my naturopath gave me

desensitizing extract & I am confused because like you said KC, it

is the mycotoxins. I'm sure I am allergic too. He is also giving me

02 intravenously.

Hi Barb, The steam spa she has is through aromaspas.com. It is $1895 free

shipping. I am going to talk to her again to go over a couple of things but I so

believe I will order one. She said it is fantastic & literally saved her life.

She sat in it 3x per day for I think she said 15 minutes.

The intravenous hydrogen peroxide is not the kind you buy in the stores. It

oxygenates your body & after the first one, I felt better. My blood was very

dark & I felt like I was dieing after the chemical exposure at work. Had no

oxygen in it. After the HP intravenously done, my blood was more normal. red

like it should be. Oxygen kills microbes in the body & is a great detoxifier. I

am also doing an oxygenator called Liquid Life that is oral. I also have one

that is great that you put in your water called Life Support. I am doing ozone

baths also. Loni

People in CFS learned almost two years ago that using FIR heaters for sauna's

where great. I bought two for $150 each. You can preheat your bathroom up to

about 100 degrees and sit in between them. The first couple of times I used

them, I did not sweat but after that I sweated a lot. I started drinking

wal-mart's brand of pedialyte while sauning. It can cause you to feel bad as you

get rid of toxins, you also can activate some. It would be hard to start out

doing three times a day?? I did three a week. I cannot do them in my tent but I

brought the FIR heaters.

There is a group on saunas that has much info. It is called

sauna_detox

It is a mixed group of people that are trying detox for many reasons, not just

mold, but it

is a very nice group.

Yes they do feel like heat lamps. I am using them in my tent for heat now..lol

I ended back up at the KOA in west texas as the place I feel the best.

a man who developed the idea of saunaing to remove toxins several years ago

had these made for him and $150 is high but they are about 20 " tall and slim so

you can sit in between them and the rays hit a lot of your body to make you

sweat. I found that I sweated fine if the room was only 90 degrees as the rays

were what was causing the sweating. I have a friend who goes to the gym to sauna

at 180 degrees and PWC's have a hard time enduring that much heat. Hot baths

make me ill. Detoxing will probably cause a herxing if you do too much starting

out. I went from 20 minutes every other day to 45 minutes everyday when I was in

an apartment. I am thinking of trying it in my tent but I am concerned about

heating the tent fabric and it releasing some kind of chemical.

I guess the idea isn't to enjoy, but I love heat lamps so I would

probably just like this anyway. Nothing feels better if you aren't

feeling well than some penetrating heat on your skin. I will check

out one of these units, inexpensive ones at Home Depot or the Firs

units. Don't burn your tent down!! Enjoy though. barbb
