Guest guest
I am looking for input. I have an 8 year old boy pt. with a fairly rapid onset unilateral toeing-in (it onset over a period of weeks). The in-toeing is actually occurring at the pelvis/hip...and it is about a 45 degree internal rotation. The lower leg is not involved (as a cause) and the actual hip/pelvis look relatively fine radiographically. What I am looking for is any theories regarding the causation behind this. I am sure we have all read up on this phenomenom at one time or another and therefore know that there is scant info regarding causation and that the condition tends to improve and nearly-resolve in most kids. I am taking my usual 'bread and butter' holistic chiropractic wellness approach with this patient and even though I feel that we are touching all bases I'd like some input. Cheers.
