Does anyone know how to clean the pleated shades that are fabric? Loni

its see-through. You use a hair dryer to make the plastic shrink to

fit the window perfectly. I use it for my leaky windows around the

house during the winter. Works great!

I use the Jumbo shrink roll for all my windows. It comes in a 64 " x 25'

roll and is VERY easy to put up. Great for picture windows. Also on

difficult windows for privacy I sponge on white latex paint lightly. It

still lets the sun in but people can't see through it. This idea may not be

useful to people with a sensitivity to paint odors though. You can make

pretty patterns with sponges.

It scrapes right off with a window scraper after it is dry if you need to

remove it. I have a friend's house (she is artistic) and she did the

windows up like stained glass with different colors and black paint for the

leading between the colors. Looks " SO COOL " (she does different season

windows for the stores but uses kids' poster paints and mixes the paint

powder with dish soap so it washes right off, Darn she's good!)

Hope this idea helps also.
