Guest guest
I have problem with the leaves in my yard, and tried to get someone to pick them up, they got most of them, but not enough. Now it is below freezing, so I am ok again. I read that the ladies in Holland used to scrub their sidewalks with bleach, and it kept the mold level down all over town, and now it is not happening, with the women all working. I feel much better when the leaves are gone, maybe it will help you too. A suggestion would be to shut the house up while the person rakes, so you keep it out of the house. I like to be gone when someone is working on something that is likely to bother me. I am concerned about the mold in your bathroom. I had mold recur on my shower curtain. As it turns out, the mold was growing behind the tile (I feel like a broken record, here, so forgive me), a solid black wall of it up to about 5 feet. This is the kind of thing that was causing the toxic exposure. The tile was put on top of drywall. You could try to check for this with a little detective work. I had a handy man do it for me. And about the tremor, yes, I have it from the mold exposure- one of the many symptoms from the neurotoxicity. It gets worse when I get re-exposed, or around something that is contaminated. Good luck, > > While addressing numerous other crises, another one sneaked into my surroundings. My Apt complex cut maintainance and landscaping way back. So, 2 things: > A) A massive number of leaves have fallen and surround my apt, and the rain has come. > > A friend had to point out that what I thought was dirt is mold on my sidewalk, right in front, and now on porch. This is because they have not done powerwashing lately. > > I hope to push for powerwashing, and find someone to rake the leaves (a job too huge for me). > > Questions: > 1) Has this assured Mold traveled inside? (windows usually open). Is it different or same as any already here? > > 2) What will be effect of raking, washing, as far as stirring it up? And what is best protection for me and inside house, and for how long? > > The only thing visable inside is the same amount that now continually re-appears on tub and shower curtain. > I'm sure there is more but I have not figured out what to do about any of it. > Overwhelmed with financial survival, long distance caregiving for Mom, treating ME/CFS, clutter in home. > All furnishings and bedding getting older and older, and god knows what that is causing. > > It's all pretty surreal, but at least I want to remove the obvious outside. > > I don't believe any is Stach, but am sure it's harming me. > > Thanks, > > Katrina >

And what is best _________________________ I had a NADCA level 3 or worse mold infestation in my HVAC, and all of the guts of the system were under the house , which is on four foot pillars, with lattice panels in between...so a ventilated, dry crawlspace, but with darkness and dirt nonetheless. Even months after all the infested stuff was removed, I am still getting a drift odor, as I walk within about ten feet of the outside of the house, even in winter. Looking back, I probably should have had the NADCA cert. guy do the removal of the infested stuff. Gee, I was so sick then. Part of the solution is to AT LEAST keep good filters in your HVAC system. I have MERV 11's in most, and a MERV 13 in the return that gets the heaviest traffic/dust/dirt load from the front door. So, it was indoor mold that has gotten outdoors, and is now probably spreading into to mulch of my landscaping.........probably now on the list of projects I am still too weak to complete. If you are going to do clean up, then suit up, mask up well, and decontaminate yourself properly afterwards. Cover your hair, eyes, nose, and mouth. Wear clothes for work that go into the hot washer right away, clean out your nose with saline, use saline eyedrops, even is what my doctor said.
