Guest guest
I don't know, and I am not a doc. But I have a parallel story. I know a guy who, at the age of 18 months would pass out and need to be taken to the doc when he was exposed to cold air (as in winter snow). About this time his mom started to have hemorragic uterine episodes and sinus infections that never let up. I believe they were exposed to toxic mold. Anyway, she took him to Walter , and they decided it had something to do with his allergic system, and they put him on allergy shots, which did reduce, and eventually " cure " this symptom. I have had problems with my blood pressure being too low, but not from the heat. I think it has to do with mold. I take Alka Seltzer Gold (no aspirin, only electrolytes in balance) when it happens, or sometimes a half teaspoon of baking soda, or 200 mg of potassium. I have a feeling mine is due to not enough electrolytes to keep the fliuds in my body. I worked with my chiropractor on all of my many mold symptoms, and I think that when my adrenals got helped over time, my blood pressure normalized. I took some bioset vegetarian enzyme/herb supplement in low doses. Now my blood pressure is almost normal most of the time. I also took some multi vitamins etc, so I am assuming it was the adrenal support that did the trick. It may have been a combo. it took months. Good luck with your trip. I hope you find something that helps. > > Hi. Perhaps I missed responses to my question. Guest guest
I would def. talk to your doctor about this. And you should definitely be taking whatever supplements work for you. There is an excellent bunch of compilations on various supplements on the garynull site under 'codex' that is worth reading.. He has stuff there on many of my favorite supps.. Even if its not about mold, it is worth reading.. But I woudn't begin to know what might help that.. I often get really tired and overwhelmed when I'm in the heat.. sweat profusely, feel as if I'm about to pass out. It may be the mold, but it also may be something else.. TRY TO GET SOME PROFESSIONAL HELP! Have you tried 'creatine' supplements? It helps bodybuilders and its mentioned in mold warriors.. ???? I also take alpha-lipoic acid (excellent antioxidant), NAC, and acetyl-l-carnitine every day.. YMMV. But they do seem to help me.. I wish I had more advice to give you.. but I am just a mortal .. a geek .. not any kind of expert on any level.. ***I AM NOT A DOCTOR by any means..*** On 11/28/05, princess bride <herbivoresf@...> wrote: > > Hi.
