Mold problem in Lowell Middle School

are trying to find out what to do about mold in the middle school.

Low levels of mold were found last month on hallway tiles in the

building.

At least three students have been pulled out of school this year at

their doctors' recommendations, and are now attending the high

school.

The district's board of education voted unanimously Monday to seek

bids to study the middle school's heating and cooling system.

The district wants to hire a firm to find the problem.
