Guest guest
Good articles recently posted to the list about Vitamin D - has anybody seen any references that speak directly to safety of Vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy? I was planning on recommending that total Vitamin D from all sources be around 1000IU/day for a pregnant patient. I am thinking that higher might be better, up to maybe 5000 IU/day. The patient is 20 weeks pregnant and has been doing fairly standard prenatal supplementation thus far. Little to no sun exposure through this past summer. Thoughts, experience, recommendations?
