Guest guest
Teen With Peanut Allergy Dies After Kiss From Associated Press November 28, 2005 11:54 AM EST SAGUENAY, Quebec - A 15-year-old girl with a peanut allergy died after kissing her boyfriend, who had just eaten a peanut butter snack, hospital officials said Monday. Desforges died in a Quebec hospital Wednesday after doctors were unable to treat her allergic reaction to the kiss the previous weekend. _______________________________________________________________ I described my " unbelievable " mold reactivity to Dr Niemayer in Gardnerville in 2002 and by way of comparison, used the reference to extreme peanut allergies as an example of an immune response gone haywire - and told him the same story I told in Mold Warriors. He listened politely, but was extremely doubtful and discounted my story - as per usual for doctordom. One of his staff told me that after I left, he derided my notions and said: " That's ridiculous. There's no such thing as mold reactivity. " and his staff agreed. He went on: " The very idea is ridiculous " and again his employees nodded their heads. And then he said " Can you imagine it? must be crazy to think that anybody could be so reactive that a single peanut could kill... What?? " - as his staff looked at him in shock. - " Crazy "
Guest guest
This story is true and made headlines here as a teacher in Pictou County, Nova Scotia died recently after she was exposed to peanut butter at school. They are ensuring that all schools have the epi-pens at schools now. She was only a young teacher too, so sad. This Kiss story is heart breaking.
