I have found this very helpful when deciding how to best use my vote.I would like to know how to communicate to others across the country what the chiropractic profession has experienced with Mitt Romney inMassachusetts.1. He actively worked against the chiropractic profession by removing existing state regulations that created a collaborative effort between the stateregulatory agency and the MCS protecting the rights of college students to have accessto reasonable chiropractic care. This regulation had been in place, and working well for 20 years. Romney did this without public notice or public hearing. 2. He aggressively worked to totally exclude the chiropractic profession from the new state mandated, "Universal" health Insurance program. 3. He attempted to pass a law that would have limited people injured in auto accidents to a total of 10 visits with either a chiropractor or PTcombined. According to Romney's proposal, any visits over the combined 10, WOULD REQUIRE A REFERRAL BY A MD! 4. He refused repeated request throughout his entire timein office to meet and/or communicate on any subject or concern with theMass. Chiropractic Society, the only society representing the profession in our state. In his entire term of office, he rejected every overture; there was never any cooperation whatsoever between Governor Romney or anyone in his administration, and any representative of the state chiropractic society. thank you for passing on this information.Ellen Blomerth, DCImmediate past president MCS **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
