November 18, 2005 - January 15, 2006 Welcome! The Centers for Disease

Control and Prevention/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (CDC)

is

pleased to announce that the CDC Health Protection Research Guide, 2006-2015

is now open for public comment. CDC is committed to reaching comprehensive

Health Protection Goals for healthy people, healthy places, preparedness

against natural and human-caused threats, and improved global health. To

achieve

these goals, CDC is developing the Research Guide which will provide a

comprehensive, long-range vision of national and global public health needs

that

can be evaluated and addressed through research. At this time, we welcome and

encourage the public to comment on the current draft of the Research Guide.
