Guest guest
Pillows - a hotbed of fungal spores You may have noticed media coverage of successful research funded by the Fungal Research Trust. Scientists at Manchester University recently completed a study on fungal growth in different types of bedpillows (see the paper here ). It seems ‘natural’ feather pillows will host fewer fungal spores over time compared with synthetic materials. The is a copy of the Press release at http://www.aspergillus.man.ac.uk/homepagenew/fungipillowsfinal.pdf, and it was featured nationally in the UK and all over the world on TV and in newspapers (28000 links in Google)
