Guest guest
Yes, we need colleagues involved with this movement. Mitch is a chiropractic advocate however we need to keep the pressure on him and other law makers to make sure that chiropractic services are included in any universal healthcare plan here in Oregon. I have been involved to a degree but there are several such movements about three or four proposals this will and possible initiative is more of a philosophical statement. Following that will be the attempt to get some form of universal healthcare plan in Oregon and we do not wish to repeat what happened in Mitt Romney's state of Massachusetts wherein Romney as Governor would not allow chiropractic services to be covered and actively fought it's inclusion. We need to turn the tables on the policy makers relative to medicine and mandate that the services provided must be "Evidence Based" and as such we will be in a solid position relative to musculoskeletal conditions via our primary treatment method of spinal manipulation/adjustments. I will continue to meet with Mitch and other law makers who are supportive of this movement and the profession to make sure we are at the table when the guts of any such proposal begins to be laid out....
