Most of the moderators for this group are on vacation, so you didn't get a proper welcome for your intro, and I just want to thank you for posting, new member intros are always welcom I just answered your other post, and I have to ask about the perfume work you're doing - -are you working under an experienced perfumer, or have they set you out to develop on your own? Could be tough if you're not schooled in perfumery, so keep posting your questions. -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden of Natural Perfume http://AnyasGarden.com Natural Perfumers Guild http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.com Natural Perfumers 1200+ members Group http://tinyurl.com/78kmv
Guest guest
Hi Marisol I've only ordered (2) different items from SKS: 4 oz. PET Boston Round Bottles & 8 oz of the same. As I explained in a previous email their bottles come as a set (fine mist sprayers included). The 8 oz bottles were fine but the 4 oz. bottles are not to my liking. The dipstick to the sprayer is a whole 1/4 " from hitting the bottom of the bottle. That's quite a bit of body spray that the customer can't spray out and I cannot in good conscience sell them that way. I was told by SKS that that's how they come from the manufacturer and if I wanted longer sprayers I would have to order them separately at additional cost and the minimum purchase of sprayers was a bag of 144. I told them I was surprised that they hadn't received complaints from other customers that buy them. Maybe some people aren't as picky as me and that's fine. But if I'm not satisfied.......needless to say I won't be ordering from them any longer and needed to find another supplier - hence my decision to try The Chemistry Store. SKS , You didn't like SKS? I've used them quite a few times and have never had a problem. What didn't you like about them? Some times it's better to know about a potential problem, just for future info. Thanks. Well, a very nice gentleman called me from The Chemistry Store in response to my email to them & explained a little flooky problem they have with their calculations of shipping. He did some testing himself on it and did discover I was overcharged $1.95 which they're issuing a credit for. I had done a little test myself on the UPS site which I found I could do an estimate on and I did come up with about $10.00 for shipping so the credit they're issuing is correct. Lesson learned here and for all of you.....if you think something doesn't sound quite right - don't be afraid to ask!! If you don't like the answer, don't do business with them again. In this case, I will definitely do business with The Chemistry Store again. I saved money compared to SKS Bottle and know that I will get good customer service and better quality with my new supplier. Guest guest
, Sorry to hear that. I don't make products that come in sprayer bottles, so I've haven't experienced that problem. But now that I know that problem is out there, I won't use SKS for sprayer bottles. Have you tried BayouSome? I haven't purchased from Bill, but everyone gives him and his company 5 stars. Thanks for the heads up. Marisol in Brooklyn Murray <jmurray2@...> wrote: Hi Marisol I've only ordered (2) different items from SKS: 4 oz. PET Boston Round Bottles & 8 oz of the same.
