Simply answer Joe is “Don’t

Hold Your Breath” waiting for payment of your outstanding bill! I

would call the attorney and see if you can glean from him if your patient

instructed the attorney to give them all the money and they would pay your bill

(…and if the Pope had wheels he’d be a wagon). This would at

least let you know if you need to contact the patient for payment and start

that ball rolling versus sitting by the mail box (in the rain..snow this

weekend) waiting for that attorney check!

Hi Joe

If you feel the attorney was inappropriate , you may want to

file a complaint with PLF

(professional liability fund) Have used them a couple of times in the past

with FAST results.

Be sure the patient signed your assignment form.
