Guest guest
I need some advice. We did a school physical yesterday and need to bill the insurance. The proce3dure code is easy but how have you worked out the diagnosis coding? This 14 year old had no problems and no subluxations either. Guest guest
Sunny, Thank you. It is good to be back. The experience was excellent. I was quite busy especially with all the hoopla about Kinesio tape. I did most of the US team taping. And unless my memory fails me wasn’t there a class on cardio- respiratory diagnosis at WSCC. As a matter of fact I vividly remember listening to that lousy 50 year old tape recorder with heart sounds trying to differentiate a Mitral valve regurgitation vs. pulmonary valve insufficiency. Now I’m not a lawyer but if ORS 336.479 says “has clinical training and experience”, but does not say how much or what kind of training! So I say WSSC counts as training and I have listened to patient’s hearts, ergo I have experience, therefore I figure I can do physicals. Guest guest
Yes; attending chiropractic college and/or passing the oregon state licensing exam and getting your license to practice in ORegon is adequate to be doing these exams. If you feel qualified to do them and you want to; IMHO you are qualified and meet the criteria of that administrative language.
