.....IMHO there are 3 basic groups presenting most usually:

One group which is going to succeed in spite of what we do or tell them

re: healthy choices;

One group which is going to fail regardless of what we do or tell them;

One group, a tinier fraction, MAY benefit because of what we say and do

in their interests, all conditions and circumstances being favorable.

Maybe I'm an optimist.
