Guest guest
Dear Oregon DC's (Please forward to any of your pals offlist) Most of the changes I have wanted to make in my practice (quitting managed care, proposing more substantial treatment plans with nutritional, exercise, and mental hygiene changes) often required more confidence in chiropractic than I possessed. I had confidence in my scientific training from WSCC but did not adequately make the connections to chiropractic as a powerful method of attaining and maintaining health. Chestnut's Wellness Certification course and the research he advised me to read has made that connection. encouraged us to attend this course in Bellevue, Washington 2 years ago. I didn't begin until the 3rd module and I was so inspired, I ended up taking the 1st and 2nd modules (conveniently) in Costa Mesa. Motto: always do what tells you to do. The Wellness Certification course is coming to Portland in March. I hope you will consider attending the seminars. They are informative, inspiring, and hugely entertaining: http://www.thewellnesspractice.com/ Portland, Oregon Module 1 - Mar 8-9 - Dr Chestnut Module 2 - May 31--Jun 1 - Dr Chestnut Module 3 - Sept 13-14 - Dr. Baxter Module 4 - Oct 18-19 - Dr. Baxter I believe that this scientific and philosophy oriented approach will help chiropractic in Oregon in ways that are critical to our progress. We need to make decisions based upon confidence in ourselves. That confidence can be gained or enhanced through this coursework and the research to which it points attendees. Please consider attending and encouraging others to attend as well. ( E. Abrahamson, D.C.)
