I live in the DC area and also go to the Apothecary

(Village Green) in Bethesda.

Dorfman has an " in " with that pharmacy if you

want to talk to her about maybe calling in something

for you(she made a liquid compound for me and even

though it's just " vitamins & minerals " they still need

her authorization.)

Her local # is 301-340-2239. She might require a

visit but it's worth a phone call.

Good luck.

Amy,

Thanks so much for the information about . Do you see her for anything

else? I am looking to talk with someone about my son's supplementation. I feel

it needs to be reviewed and possibly changed. Is she a nutritionist or an M.D.?

Thanks again!

does phone consulting. She also has a website. She will call in a

prescription. How much is the charge for the compound and what are they

putting in it? I use Brainchild liquid vitamins and minerals. They have

been great.

We had our initial visit with on Friday. I was very impressed with her.

She also told us that for follow-up visits we had the option of a phone

consultation. I don't know if she would do that for the initial visit, but it's

worth asking about.

Maureen:

She is a nutritionist that works with lots of ASD

kids. She is very helpful and very informative-she

also knows a lot of people in the area that she can

refer to you.

Good luck.

Sorry to be so late chiming in on your question. I don't get back to

visit the group much anymore. You didn't provide your location and

since it's not in your profile, I thought I'd add this information to

your thread.

Last summer I posted information about a new Compounding Pharmacy

located near where I live, in the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix, AZ.

This information is the first document in this group's Files >

Compounding Pharmacies folder.

" There is a new Compounding Pharmacy in the Ahwatukee Foothills area

of Phoenix, AZ. They are very knowledgeable about aromatase

inhibitors, Chrysin/DIM as well as testosterone gels. They are

working on getting a sterile area set-up so they can make Tri-mix and

Bi-mix. "

When I saw your question, I contacted them about your question and

received the following reply:

" We put testosterone in dosing syringes and can also put it in

special jars so the patient can draw up their own dose. We do quite a

bit of testosterone cream with and without chrysin in varying

strengths. "

So, if you want another source, contact them. They are at:

Mixtures Pharmacy, A Compounding Pharmacy

16515 S. 40th Street

Phoenix, AZ 85048

Telephone: 480-706-0620

Fax: 480-706-0489

Toll Free: 866-WeMixRx

Their website is: http://www.mixturesrx.com

e-mail to: pharmacist@...
