Guest guest
Dr. Schaller forgive the delay in responding. I've been busy reading your new e-book " Mold Illness Made Simple " . I wish I had the data in this e-book in 2002 when I was injured. I found the e-book very easy to read and understand, the cartoons are wonderful enabling my left and right brain to work together rather than becoming distracted and has encouraged me to order Dr. Shoemaker's Mold Warriors (yes, I have not purchased it yet but will because of your e-book). Seriously I plan to recommend this $4.95 e-book to many. I think it's a wonderful primer for adults (some people are under the impression it's written for children and I disagree) giving basic data on home maintenance, prevention, how to detect mold, basic remedial, symptoms of mold illness in humans, and basic lab tests. Knowing how many homes and buildings in Houston are affected by mold, the general population needs to become educated and this e-book is a wonderful start. So often people will minimize the little mold growing in their homes and your e-book addresses this issue so well. We cannot ignore excess moisture, water leaks, a little mold and also need to know how to properly clean our homes, to clean the drip pan under the refrigerator, to clean the showerhead, etc to prevent illness. Should they wish more data, they can order Dr. Shoemaker's Mold Warriors. Thank you for publishing this as an e-book. Lol now if only there could be an e-book how to treat oneself at home for those who do not have the ability to consult with an health care expert on the subject. I encourage you to publish more e-books and let us know when they are available. Rosie Re: [] Spores or Mycotoxins-Dr. Schaller Great question. I would read Mold Warriors on binders. I love the history of Dr. Shoemakers discovery of cholestyramine's use in the land biotoxin disaster. While Dr. Rosen and I have two books on remediation and mycotoxins coming out, we do NOT address your issue. The first one is now only an e-book. Be on Amazon in 2-3 weeks. http://www.personalconsultcart.com/index.cfm?action=ViewDetails & ItemID=13 But it is short on binders. We do NOT talk about denaturing things INSIDE the body. We briefly quote Mold Warriors material on decreasing the effects of biotoxins on inflammation systems and hormones. This is for folks who have a hard time reading, little time and most importantly want to prevent remediation or self cleaning errors which are far too common. As you recall from Carl Grimes, Dr. Shoemaker, Dr. Lipsey, Dr. Rosen and many of us who care about mold illness---the first medical treatment is having a no excess moisture and a mold-free environment. ********* I am trying to get to a project on looking at all available binders, denaturing mycotoxins OUTSIDE the body, and using liver biochemistry to remove mycotoxins faster. Regarding the liver, I am not sure how much one can speed up the pace but it is too early in my research. This is likely 4-12 months away. My hunch is you can speed it up some, but CLINICIANS need to be careful not to over-sell general liver health nutrients, and their ability to remove mycotoxins. Removing Tylenol, DDT or pesticides is DIFFERENT than removing T-2 or other mycotoxins. Schaller, MD www.persoanlconsult.com
