Guest guest
I have a pt ( she has been a regular for 16 yrs ) last week slipped on ice while going to her car and landed " hard on her lower back and bounced her head off asphalt " . Happened on wes I saw her fri and mon. Exam was neg for fxs but the usual soft tissue and subluxations that can be expected eith this injury. She woke up tues morn with acute abdominal pain. Was taken to er and dx'd with " twisted colon " had emergency sgx. Question would be, that since the close proximity to the accident could the fall have caused it or is it mereley coincidental? Oh btw when I saw here monday afternoon there were no abdominal complaints at all and ha's were better. I look forward to your opinions! DR CHARLIE CAUGHLIN DC.
