For those of you who have the trusty 3600 unit....

When I got my 3600 at a thrift store -- so lucky! -- I didn't notice that the

base had the six-sided nut, and the canister was the Super 3600 with the

twelve-sided coupling. It works, but sometimes, I think that the unit would

work more efficiently if the fittings truly fit. I'm also concerned that the

canister's coupling is wearing out. Well, at least I'm only making smoothies

and not trying to make something where the unit's running for several minutes.

Whenever I see a 3600 for sale at the big auction site, it seems that the base

and the canister don't usually " match. "

So, those of you who still have the 3600 (especially with the six-sided nut), do

you also have the " matching " canister?
