Guest guest
My kids are now grand parents and we live at opposite ends of the country. My daughter lives in the next state but my grandkids and their families live in Florida and I'm in Connecticut. So I don't know about kids' books. Guest guest
Green Eggs and Ham!! Dr. Suess!! my mum would put green food coloring in scrambled eggs for me as a kid because I would ask for green eggs and ham!! ) If she'd had a vitamix back then, she could have used spinach instead of food coloring and I'd have never known :)On Jan 19, 2012, at 9:20 PM, Apricot043 wrote: Wes used normal hen's eggs, but they turned green from the spinach. Guest guest
Well there are Aricana (not sure if that is the right spelling) chickens that lay pastel green and other color eggs. Of course the inside looks the same as regular eggs. On the other thing, Green Eggs and Ham is not fictional, I made it for my kids when they were young (on Dr Seuss's birthday). You should have seen their little faces when they came to the breakfast table that morning. haha Velda On 1/19/2012 6:20 PM, Apricot043 wrote: > Wes used normal hen's eggs, but they turned green from the spinach. > > The story called Green Eggs n Ham is purely fictional children's tale. > It's a very old story. > > That I know of, there is no such thing as green eggs in real life, > unless we add spinach to them in the VM like Wes did. > > Amy > > On Jan 19, 2012, at 12:28 PM, " Lucille " <lschacht@...> wrote: > > > Well I have to ask........... Guest guest
well it seems green eggs can be healthy! Now how to make ham healthy, not sure the vitamix can accomplish that.... Guest guest
If I could I would keep a chicken for a pet. but I guess she would have to wear a diaper. And living in a retirement community it's not allowed. Guest guest
we have a small yard in San Francisco, and have often thought of making a small coop for a couple hens... But we travel a lot so it hasent happened....You are allowed 4 chickens in the city if you choose.... its a law, but I think Roosters are outlawed within city limits.
