The canister is marked Super 3600 and has a large flat six-sided nut resting on the bottom with a black rubber cork-like thing with a hole in it into which the metal projection from the base fits. The hole in the canister is not round but looks sort of scalloped. I never really looked very closely at how they connected. The top does not fit real tightly on the base.
