When My husband was living and I had a garden I would put leaves in my blender with juice. My husband thought I was crazy and ate weird foods. If he noticed I was on a diet he would sabotage it by coming home with a box of eclairs.

Lea Ann, Thanks a lot. I will check out the GAPS website. I just reread the posts on thyroid and crucifers and I think I will start a food dairy to keep up with my symptoms daily with what I am eating and my energy level.

Great that your greens experiment worked using the new citrus press you bought.

I am experimenting with my diet too to see what works for me. Finally after several years of watching me eat more healthy, my husband has agreed to join me. I'm thrilled. He is on lots of medicine and is in pain every day. He has started with a smoothie every day and now he wants to eat what I do for dinner too! I want him around for a long time and changing his diet and exercise plan will do it.
