Guest guest
LOL. Pardon me for my laughing, but I hadn't thought of checking her math. You are probably not missing anything. I do even not know how many ounces are in a serving of raw greens. I watched another of her videos on how to make a green smoothie and she shoved the greens in the blender without even measuring anything. In that video her blender is filled to the top. I think her point is that the total calories is fairly low, and I can see how that would be true. Thanks for changing subject line! Amy Posted by: "vitamixkrista" kristaqqqq@... vitamixkrista I watched the video in your link and found it interesting, but I can't figure out how she calculated that there are 15 servings of fruits and vegetables in her one-quart smoothie. I believe she said it's about one peach, half a banana, 3/4 cup of berries, 1/2 pound of greens, and based on the recipe on her website it seems that she adds 2.5 cups of water and yields about two quarts of total smoothie. By my estimation (with a whole piece of fruit as one serving and a cup of greens as one serving), I don't see anywhere near 30 servings of fruits and vegetables in her total smoothie (with 15 in each quart). Am I missing something? > > Here's a comment on how much greens you can drink per day and still lose weight. I enjoy GreenSmoothieGirl's videos: > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAztZRlkOLE & feature=related
