Hmmm, interesting, the deception was in playing the"Devil's advocate". Trying to show how many professionalswho should know better, don't. I did it because alot of the people who are trying to eat healthy believe artificial sweetners are just fine, as a sub for sugar. I used to believe it, myself.I only continue to use it, on rare occassions, because of my Cousin'sstudy.Maybe.........awwwww, never mind. But, I was enjoying the info beingshared. No disrespect intended. G (My new signature, so as not to be

NO ,

I do NOT appreciate the deception, nor the method.

What you have here in this group is a bunch of very sincere, caring individuals who invest, time, effort and yes themselves into each of these posts because we are passionate about health.

No one is telling you to stop doing what you choose, but the bottom line is that most medical professionals do not know the real story on foods, chemicals, toxins and how they affect different people.

You have every right to drink as much Splenda as your heart desires, but the information that Splenda is a dangerous, toxic substance is the truth, and it will be revealed more and more because the alternative and integrative medicine groups who dig past the line that all is well.

Please consider that we are people, most who are tirelessly seeking better health, and we do not need to be toyed with.

Drink whatever you wish, but please do not argue its safety because that is a fantasy.

I appreciate all opinions. As to the cousin--as my Mom (a very wise

woman, now gone) used to say, a PhD does not mean a person has

common ordinary horse sense. So, no disrespect to the cousin, I just

don't believe his or her study. As I learned in school, statistics

can be manipulated to say almost anything one wants to say with

them.
