Guest guest
I finally got moving and dusted my vitamix off and tried soup. I have the large container. I had a small ziplock bag of tomatoes I had frozen (probably 2 cups) When I defrosted them there was a fair bit of water. I added a small piece of garlic a little chopped onion 1 celery stick a handful of salad a handful of spinach sprinkle of mrs dash some vegetable seasoning 1 tble flax seed 1 tble chia seed It wasn't too bad and it was quite thick. Here's my questions so I understand a bit more about this for next time. Can you make any suggestions to improve it? I'm assuming that the thickness came from the chia or flax...is that true? I eat 1 cup for a meal and probably ended up with at least 3 cups maybe 4. Is there a problem with quality if I ate some over the next two or three days? What about freezing it...would that be better to keep the nutrition? Thanks for any help you can give me. Rusty
